The book, 100 Verses Everyone Should Know By Heart written by Robert Morgan, details 100 popular verses  that will help transform your mind with Godly wisdom. Memorizing these verses can help you overcome the temptations of the world, our earthly desires, and ultimately sin that leads to death. You see, sin starts as thoughts in our minds. If we can kill the thoughts by applying God’s truth instead, then we are more likely to win the battle of the mind. “For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God's law; indeed, it cannot.” Romans 8:7 ESV. However, when we memorize Scripture it helps us fight this battle, “I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.” Psalm 119:11 ESV. Consider and pray whether memorizing these verses might be beneficial to you. Below are the 100 verses included in the book plus four additional bonus verses. We will soon be adding the verses in the most popular English translations for your convenience in memorizing using your favorite translation.
